About Me

United States
I despise the left wing liberal attempts to change America. I support FREEDOM, freedom of speech, right to bear arms, religious freedom and protecting the rights of Americans, including the unborn. Close the border, round up illegals and send them home. Welcome them back with a green card. I believe in preserving the visions of our founding fathers which did not include Socialism or Sharia Law. This IS STILL America.....at least for now.

US Airways Crash

All I can say is Amazing! What an an amazing job the pilots and flight crew did today! Not one death! Everyone alive! I read that it is the first time in 50 years of commercial flights that such a landing was successful, and successful it was. It was more of a miracle performed by those pilots and crew.

They say that flying is safer than driving or even crossing the street. I believe it. Thousands of flights everyday and there has not been one fatality in over two years. Todays crash did not change that statisic. It is a happy ending to what could have been a huge tragedy.

I just want to say to the pilots and crew....you are remarkable. If I were going to fly....I would want to be on YOUR plane. WAY TO GO!

That being said, I no longer fly. I'm scared.

  1. That pilot and crew ARE heroes. And if I had been on his plane, after seeing him, I would have had confidence in his abilities. I have this weird idea, that if the pilot doesn't have white hair, then he's not experienced enough. LOL I flown quite a bit and always try to get a peak at the pilot before taking my seat. If I see white hair, I tend to relax and just say a short prayer for a safe trip. If I don't see white hair, I tend to get nervous, and pray a long involved prayer asking for wisdom and guidance for the pilot, asking for a safe takeoff and landing, and anything else I can think of. I repeat the prayer at first sign of turbulence and before landing. I just happen to be flying US Airways on Thursday to attend my father in law's funeral; I'm not sure whether to be worried or secure in the choice of airlines. Say a prayer for me.
