About Me

United States
I despise the left wing liberal attempts to change America. I support FREEDOM, freedom of speech, right to bear arms, religious freedom and protecting the rights of Americans, including the unborn. Close the border, round up illegals and send them home. Welcome them back with a green card. I believe in preserving the visions of our founding fathers which did not include Socialism or Sharia Law. This IS STILL America.....at least for now.

Deliver us, OBAMA?

What else can I add to this?

  1. For those of us who may not share, what I assume is your revulsion for this video, the people who are in it, and the manner of its presentation, PLEASE DO ARTICULATE YOUR OBJECTIONS.

  2. The one telling us our kids will be communists...is sugar coating it from the White House.

  3. Thank you for your well thought out and articulated answer. I have no more questions.

  4. Bob, I mistakenly thought you posted a comment to a different post of mine. I am sorry, I did not mean to be short...I have a blood clots in/under my eye....and at times I have a hard time seeing.

I will give you a well thought out post tomorrow.

    My apologies.

  5. Apology accepted, but I would much prefer a serious follow up to your flippant response to my earlier serious question about your thoughts on Obama VS McCain. The importance of the current topic pales in comparison to that issue.

What I know from your writing is that you are convinced that President Obama will, if not stopped, become a dictator who will rule over a socialist-fascist style US government. But when I pointed out that Glen Beck, someone in whom you obviously have a lot of confidence, has stated that John McCain would have been worse for the country than Obama, you responded by saying Obama was a loser. My question begs a more serious answer and I hope you will provide one. It could be as simple as a comment that you disagree with Beck on this issue, or a list of your reasons why McCain would have been worse than Obama - whom you predict will rule as a dictator over a socialist-fascist government.

  6. Bob, Obama is not God. Obama cannot deliver us. Only God can do that. To worship false idols is a sin. Obama is just a man. Plain and simple. These were religious leaders....for the life of me, I do not understand how we came to worship a human.

That being said, it is their right to do that if they wish. They don't answer to me.

  7. McCain would have destroyed the conservative movement. At the time I was worried about how McCain would spend our tax dollars. Obama outspent any fear I had of McCain, however. I am not saying that he would be worse than Obama in every respect, because I am not sure that is possible. I do feel that he was not the right choice to lead this country.

Each of them have their down sides. Would I have voted for McCain? Yes or I would not have voted at all. Sadly, we have to vote for the lesser of evils.

I also believe that had McCain been elected our country would have been thrown into mass chaos because the white man won. That is one of the biggest reasons I am glad he did not win. Sad that we even have to think like this.

You take my words and make them more than I say. I do believe Obama is leading us toward socialism. What is socialism? It is the mid way point to communism. Neither are what this country was founded on.

Bob, have you read the backgrounds of the Czars? I do not see how anyone...liberals included could not be concerned about the people advising Obama in The White House.

Government has grown larger than it has in anytime in our history. They have extended their arms into the auto industry, banking industry (including all student loans), and more. They are reaching far into our homes and personal lives as well. MY children are MY children. I decide what is best for them, not the United Nations, and not The White House.

Have you read the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child? Yes, there are some good things in it. However, it says repeatedly, State Parties shall. State parties shall....

Screw the state parties, Bob. These are my children...I will raise them in a way that I feel is best, not in a way the government deems best. I will say this in favor of McCain...he would never have ratified this treaty. Wanna bet Obama does?

  8. So, Bob, what is your take on John Holdren, Kevin Jennings and Mark Lloyd?

  9. I appreciate you responding (but not all your responses) to my most recent comments, and I'll come back later and say a few words about those responses. As for the three so-called czars you mention, I'll do what most fair and rational people will do and reserve my judgement until after they've been on the job awhile and have had the opportunity to do the jobs they've been chosen to do. That's the standard that I try to apply when evaluating anyone's performance. I assume you would wish me to apply that standard if I were asked to evaluate your performance on a new job.

  10. Would you have appreciated some transparency with these Czars before they were placed on the job. Bob, don't you think these people should receive congressional approval?

No, Bob, I would not expect you to apply that standard. I would have hoped you did not hire me to begin with.

I guess that makes me unfair and irrational, right?

Well, I accept that badge with honor.

You say tomahhhtoe, I say tomato.

  11. Glen Beck brags about his research team, but is notorious for making false claims, especially when they relate to the US Constitution and other historical facts. I suggest that you do, at least, a little research before posting claims made by Beck.

"Beck jumped on Breitbart story about organizers "pray[ing]" to Obama, but Breitbart later walked back that claim. As Media Matters for America noted, on September 29, Breitbart.tv -- published by Matt Drudge protégé Andrew Breitbart -- embedded a video with the headline, "Shock Discovery: Community Organizers Pray TO President-Elect Obama." During the September 29 edition of his radio program, Beck asked executive producer Steve "Stu" Burguiere to tell the show's webmaster, Chris Brady, to post the video "on the front page of GlennBeck.com" and to "make sure that it is also included in our email newsletter." At one point, Beck suggested that the video participants were "just mocking God by faking a prayer to Obama." But Breitbart.tv subsequently updated the original post about the video with an editor's note acknowledging that "there is a debate over what is actually being said" and that the crowd may, in fact, be saying "oh God" rather than "Obama." The Gamaliel Foundation subsequently stated that "at no time have we prayed to President Obama" and that in the video, the organizers "can be heard saying, 'Hear our cry oh God,' 'Deliver us oh God,' etc.""

Beck claimed constitutional provision protecting slave trade applies to "immigrants." In a chapter in his new book purporting to explain to "idiots" what "our Founding Fathers really intended," Beck praises an obsolete provision of the U.S. Constitution that prohibited Congress from outlawing the slave trade before 1808 and capped taxes on the slave trade at $10 per slave. In his explanation of the provision, Beck does not mention slavery, saying instead that the provision means that the Founders apparently "felt like there was a value to being able to live here" and lamenting: "Not anymore. These days we can't ask anything of immigrants -- including that they abide by our laws."

Below is the abominable section 9 of the US Constitution that Beck believes has something to do with immigration. I suspect your eight-year old knows this provision is about protecting the slave trade.

"Section 9. The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a Tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person."
    "

I'm betting that your eight-year old knows that this section provides for the protection of the slave trade - and has nothing to do with immigration. Some network should start airing a program named "Are you smarter than an eight-year old - or merely smarter than Glen Beck.

  12. So I guess you believe that Jeremiah and MLK Jr. are prophets? Pathetic, Bob. Well, I guess it makes sense Obama is the Messiah then.

I listed to the video myself and I hear Deliver Me Obama. I do not need Glenn Beck or Brietbart to tell me what I hear. They can back down from this video all day long....it is what it IS!

  13. Bob,
I hear "Obama" too. Regardless, they are praying to the God of healthcare. Not cool, Bob.
Do you pray to God over the death of healthcare Bob? I tend to find that sick. But that's just me.

  14. Tammy - A tip of my hat to you for publishing my critical comments, which you could have chosen not to do.

Tammy and Frankie - Some believe anything they see and hear that reinfornces their own beliefs while some are a bit more objective, even skeptical, about things they see and hear, esspecially, when the objective of those things is to make a political point.

Frankie - No, I don't "pray to God over the death of healthcare" and I hope that confessoin doesn't make you sick.

  15. And some refuse to see the truth right in front of their faces.

  16. No Bob, your "confession" doesn't make me sick. In fact, I'm happy for you that you're not that far gone. And I, for one, am completely skeptical about what I see, especially these days. I question everything and make my own assessments. That is my right and obligation as an American citizen. Let's all hope those rights aren't taken away from ALL of us soon.
