I despise the left wing liberal attempts to change America. I support FREEDOM, freedom of speech, right to bear arms, religious freedom and protecting the rights of Americans, including the unborn. Close the border, round up illegals and send them home. Welcome them back with a green card. I believe in preserving the visions of our founding fathers which did not include Socialism or Sharia Law. This IS STILL America.....at least for now.

Live Free or Die Fighting, A Letter from Jerry Wilson

Friends & Fellow Americans,

When the storm finally hits (and it will), those of you who supported the Obama administration will be affected as well. It won’t just be us gun owners or Fair Taxers, or Pro-Lifers that get hit. You’ll be right there next to us.

You see, you all thought the Conservatives were nut cases. You know, all of us who believe in God, small government, the Second Amendment, etc. And you thought you could just go back to sleep after the election was over. In your world, America will continue as before. You’ll still have the same rights, the same nice house, the same big screen television – it’s all good. After all, your high school football team won and the other team lost – go team! Even if you have bothered to look up from the daily grind since Nov 4th, you dismissed everything that has occurred as “politics as usual” – “the same old stuff”.

In the end, it’ll all be OK won’t it?

Not this time. There are a growing number of citizens in the US that are ready to fight to shut down the government’s grab of personal freedom, it’s blatant abuse of the constitution, and it’s attempt to replace the American way of life with socialism. You have to listen carefully to hear them, but they are there. I won’t start that fight, but when it goes down I will join it.

As for you, why… you’ll be shocked because you didn’t see it coming. And eventually you’ll be saddened when you see that we have truly lost the way of life with which you grew up. You’ll be saddened that your children and grandchildren live in a socialist, government-controlled gulag where their every movement from cradle to grave is tracked by the government. But most of all, you’ll be saddened by the death of friends and relatives who are brave enough to fight and die for something they believe in.

You know, McCain wasn’t much of a candidate. I’ll give you that. He was the lesser of two evils for most of us. I don’t blame you for not voting for him since, at the time, you didn’t know what we all know now. But at least John McCain was an American. He was a supporter of the American way of life and he understood that you can’t negotiate with terrorists. He understood and appreciated the sacrifice made by my father and other members of the Greatest Generation.

Mark my words friends. All across America groups are forming. They are forming out of anger and out of desperation at the thought of losing America. They’re not militia groups, terrorists as the Department of Homeland security would have you believe; they are Americans, loyal to the constitution. They are mothers and fathers and grandparents. They belong to groups like the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, the Patriotic Resistance, the Constitution Party, the Young Conservatives, the 9/12 Project, and Grassfire. Right now they are fragmented, each focused on their own cause. But sometime in the next two years, our government is going to do something really stupid and these groups will come together. Watch for it, wait for it…get ready. It will happen.

When that event happens, whatever “it” is, our great country is going to plunge into chaos for a while. I pray to God that we make it through that time and emerge a stronger, smarter country.

  1. Tammy have you been seeing feed of the Pittsburgh G20 protests? The initial protest was peaceful but the riot police, yes riot police in full gear I may add, told them they were unlawfully assembling. This was not near the conference center btw and they were not initially hindering traffic. The protesters purposely did not seek to obtain a "permit" to assemble saying that the permit was the Constitution and all they needed were feet and voices. Nevertheless, the riot police with Nat'l Guard used military apparatus to push the protesters down. They also bullhorned that anyone on the sidewalk there "for any purpose" had to leave (Any purpose, like walking to work? Reporting on the event? yes any purpose, Comrade.)Our Constitution is dying...

  2. I have been watching it, which is what prompted me to post Jerry's letter.

It is so scary, Elizabeth. I am afraid for my children, my grandchildren and even myself. I cannot believe this is happening in our country. My Mom died two years ago this coming January.....and sometimes I use that timeline to compare everything that has happened. If I could just talk to her one more time...I would have so much to tell her.

Our Constitution is dying fast. I am afraid.

That being said, I also believe in end times. I do believe that Jesus is coming....and I know he is the only hope for our country and our world.

Tammy - There's no mistaking that the writer of this letter is looking forward to, if not directly advocating, violence to overthrow our constitutionally-elected government. He also makes it clear that he will join that fight.
Do you believe, as this man does, that violence may be justified, and are you prepared to join the fight that will, in his words, "plunge [the country] into chaos for a little while" - because "our government is going to do something really stupid?"

  4. I do not believe he is advocating anything. He just believes it will happen...as do I. Time will tell....our government is already acting pretty stupid. When you call people racist for not agreeing with you...call them right wing extremists....and terrorists...then you are baiting violence. Nobody wants violence. Not Jerry, not me.

Let's just hope Obama does nothing stupid enough to encite it. If he does...trust me...it will be so stupid you will be on our side.

I guess you did not read that part?

  5. Bob, what would you do if Obama became a Hugo Chavez? Would that alarm you?

Nobody....that I know....wants violence, advocates violence, or would start violence. Glenn Beck even worries this will happen. It is more a fear....a fear that we are truly losing our freedom. If our country began to follow the lead of other dictatorships...would you not do what you had to do to protect the your freedom under our Constitution?

Many people fear this is in our future. If it were, would you be surprised as the writer stated?

Nobody wants this to happen. Nobody.

My prayer is that he is a one term president...and we can be done with him. Actually, another prayer is that congress is cleaned out in next years elections...giving him much less leeway to be so transparent, if you will.

But one more question for you, Bob. The Democrats just rejected the GOP's request to post the latest healthcare bill online for 72 hours BEFORE they vote on it so that the American citizens can read it and to give the Republicans in congress time to read it. Actually, they refused to even let the Republicans read it.

Bob, do you believem as the Democrats do, that is justified under the Constitution Of The United States of America??

Gee....Obama promised to do just that, post all bills online for 72 hours. Not happening is it, Bob?

  6. "Let's just hope Obama does nothing stupid enough to encite it. If he does...trust me...it will be so stupid you will be on our side."

Stupidity, no matter how offensive, is not grounds for impeachment or subversion of an elected government. Whatever happens, I plan to be on the side of the rule of law as set forth in the US Constitution.

"Bob, do you believem as the Democrats do, that [refusal to post the Health Care Bill for 72 hours before a vote is scheduled] is justified under the Constitution Of The United States of America??"

Of course, it's justified under the Constitution. The party in power always acts in ways contrary to what the other party wants, but that doesn't make it unconstitutional. Article I of the Constitution is the definitive guideline for how the Congress must conduct its business, and it does not mention that a bill must be published in any particular way before it is brought to a vote in either chamber of congress. Do you recall some of the mean-spirited. outrageous tactics of Jessie Helms (Senator from NC) when he was chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee? His abuse was sometimes aimed directly at Joe Biden, ranking Democrat on that committee, but Biden didn't yell foul or propose impeachment; he smiled and tolerated the abuse - because he knew it was legal, no matter how distasteful. And do you remember when the Senate Republicans rammed through a trillion dollar tax-cut bill with a simple majority of 51 percent (a concept which you indicate you abhor). Dick Cheney, the Vice President, cast the deciding vote. All completely constitutional! Did you complain about the unfairness of that? Specifically did you point out that a democracy is one in which a majorty of 51 percent rules the other 49 percent?

"Bob, what would you do if Obama became a Hugo Chavez? Would that alarm you?"

Whatever happens or whatever the President becomes, I plan to be on the side of the rule of law as set forth in our Constitution.

  8. Did you know Chavez either is still in progress of....or has finished closing all golf courses. Bleh...who needs them? They represent US capitalism...right?

Not much mention of that on CNN, MSNBC...etc.

  9. Dictator - a person exercising absolute power, esp. a ruler who has absolute, unrestricted control in a government without hereditary succession.

"Do you think the law as set forth in our Constitution says sit back and let a dictator rule?"

Certainly not! The constitution provides the means to prevent a President from ursurping absolute power by other means than force, and if a President attempts to take control of the government through force, he must be resisted with force. This President's agenda is being resisted at every turn - and you worry that he will become a dictator?

I note that your profile statement no longer includes a declaration that you despise liberals - only that you're outraged by them and their actions. I note further than you are not answering my questions (as I am yours). You simply ignore some and respond to others with more questions.

So, I'll ask you again: Did you complain when Republican Senators passed a massive tax cut by a 51 to 50 vote - when you don't miss an opportunity to point out the the unfairness of a simple majority rule when it favors democrats? - or do you simply look the other way at the abuses of those who carry your standard?

  10. "Did you know Chavez either is still in progress of....or has finished closing all golf courses. Bleh...who needs them? They represent US capitalism...right?"

From one of your reference links:

"The Venezuelan president launched a tirade against the "bourgeois" sport recently during one of his infamous Sunday national television addresses which can last for several hours."

I play golf, and I'd be more than upset if our President began closing our golf courses, but I'd be more concerned if the President started shutting down radio stations (see sentence below from same article).

"Mr Chavez was accused of stifling freedom of speech when he recently announced that 34 radio stations would be closed."

The proper time to be concerned about how others might interpret second-hand information is before you post it on your web site.

  11. A tax cut is a very different thing. Did you complain, Bob? I am talking about things like being required to purchase government approved and soon governement insurance. After cap and trade passes who can afford it? Oh and it was confirmed today...in the bill we cannot read...that if you do not buy the insurance...it is a $1900.00 fine. If you don't pay it in the required time frame...it is 25k fine and a year in jail. All from people who will still be unable to afford health insurance AND electricity or gas for their cars.

What about the Hondura's? A dictator trying to take over there. Are they right to overthrow their government to remain loyal to their constitiution?

You know...like if you are a Democratic Governor in Mass. you can appoint someone to fill a vacant senatorial seat. But if you are republican....well....you better get ready to hold elections.

A bill Kennedy passed prior to his death stated they must hold new elections. Funny how that changed when he was dying and they needed a democratic vote.

Sounds like a dictatorship already in some respects.

  12. I already posted on the radios. They have shut down all but one TV station....and will probably leave it open to prove he is not a dictator.

That is going to happen here in a different way. Rather than shut them down...they will control what is on the air....both radio and tv.

"If a conservative doesn’t like a talk show host, he switches channels. Liberals demand that those they don’t like be shut down."

But why not just change the channel? Start your own show with opposing opinions? Can't do that, Bob. They have to control what is on the programs. They will force them to air opposing views....or be shut down. It is all about control, and while I hope I am wrong, I'm not.

Oh and while we are at it....why just control the radio and TV? Why not make white people who have earned their positions give them up for minorities? You know...just "becuz".

Our own President cannot even say the GD word. BECAUSE. Just another little pet peeve of mine.

  13. Read this Bob. If you don't want to believe this article....search for more proof. You will find it.

  14. "But why not just change the channel? Start your own show with opposing opinions? Can't do that, Bob. They have to control what is on the programs. They will force them to air opposing views....or be shut down."

You're riding a dead horse and whistling Dixie into the wind (or by the grave yard)with this one. The President has made it clear he is not in favor of reinstating the so-called fairness doctrine and there's only luke-warm support for it in Congress.

"It is all about control, and while I hope I am wrong, I'm not."

So you are one hundred percent certain that the current administration, in cooperation with Congress, will go at least as far as reinstating the "Fairness Doctrine" in order to stamp out free speech.

If faith is the cheerful hope for good things not seen, what you describe is your despairing hope against things that you predict, with certainty, will happen. If you could bet your life on the outcome (whether you are right or wrong), which way would you bet? Give your reason for your bet.

  15. The "President" ran a campaign on "transparency" too. The "President" was opposed to pursuing prosecution for member of the Bush Administration too, wasn't he? He claimed it was time to "Look Forward". Well, he appointed someone who is doing just the opposite. Would you like more examples or is that enough to make you see where I am coming from.

I would almost bet my life because I truly believe he is leading us towards socialism...at best. The almost part....well because I WANT to believe I am wrong.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Oh and there was that little lobbyist issue too.

  17. No, I don't need any more examples. I see exactly where you're coming from. And just as surely as "tax cuts are a different thing", the issue of whether to prosecute Bush Adminstration officials is different from stamping out freedom of speech. And far different from Obama usurping power to run the country as a dictatorship. Do you have such little faith in the representatives of the Republican Party, especially conservatives, that you believe they will sit by and watch Obama become a dictator? Are you telling your children what you're saying on this site and preparing them for for the impending crisis that you're predicting?

By the Way, did you hear and/or see one of your favorites, Glen Beck, say recently that as bad as Obama has been for the country, John McCain would have been worse? Do you see no light at the end of the tunnel? Is Tammy's world imploding? Is the sky really falling?

  20. Let me get this straight: You predict that Obama will lead us into socialism, at best, and a dictatorship, at worst. And, as evil as you and Glen Beck believe Obama to be, Beck states that McCain would have been worse -and all you have to offer is: "John McCain was a loser too." Such a flippant and non-responsive comment demeans a serious discussion, one that you started because you believe that our President plans to subvert the US Constitution.

And by the way, have it your way, if you must, on the matter of the Fairness Doctrine. That is, believe if you will, that it will be reinstated. I don't expect it will, but I don't believe for one moment that the purpose of the original bill was to stifle free speech. The doctrine simply became a victim of President Reagan's misplaced policy of unbridled deregulation.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Yes, I believe Obama is taking us down a path towards socialism.

As for McCain, he was not the topic here. You asked me how I felt about him...I told you. There are lots of ways to be a bad President...and he would have spent too much too. Likely on Afghanistan. You remember Afghanistan? When Bush sent troops in...Liberals cried foul. Yet Obama is probably about to send in another 40k troops in addition to the thousands he already sent. But it is okay if Obama does it.

As for the Fairness Doctrine...there should be no regulation on freedom of speech..there are back door ways of doing it without actually repealing it. Watch. You will see.

And you think Obama is transparent?
