There seems to be new products hitting the market....errr streets that are designed with the capability to spy on people. Think for a minute....what could do such a thing? Street lights? Naaaaa. Think again. Yes, streetlights!

We have known for a while that the United Kingdom has Sharia Law courts. You are probably thinking that could never happen in America, right? If so, you are wrong. We have Sharia law in America. One example would be in Texas. TEXAS? Yessiree, cowboy, TEXAS.

Okay, so you now know about Sharia in America. Next up.....Islamic school holidays? That's right...some schools in Massachusetts will soon recognize one Islamic holiday per year. One would think it only fair if they celebrate Christmas, right? Wait...they do not celebrate Christmas....they celebrate the "Winter" Holidays.

MOSQUE OR VICTORY MONUMENT?

I remember 9/11 as if it were yesterday. I remember when I realized this was an attack on our country, I left my job immediately and picked up my baby from daycare. She was four months old to the day. I remember driving home...she was in the back seat...and I felt like she was miles from me. There were still planes missing....and I had a 45 mile drive home. I was some 1000 miles away from NYC but I was terrorized. I wanted my baby in my arms...I wanted to be home. I kept looking at the sky.....I was terrified.

My heart breaks for everyone who was killed that day. The parents on the planes with children in their laps that they could not protect. They knew they were going to die and they could not protect their children. Can you just imagine the despair? The people trapped in the top floors of the WTC buildings who could not escape. They knew they were going to die.

I have really been thinking about the Mosque issue at ground zero. In fact, I have been thinking about it so much that I delayed writing about it.

At first glance it seems an outrage. How can this be allowed? Why would they do that? Why there? Sure brings a lot of question and anger.

I believe in freedom of religion. I believe that if they want to build a mosque, they can and should. The same goes for a church or synagogue.....under normal circumstances. In this situation...it is an outrage.

First of all this is a business district, not a community where people live. Then you have the reality that ground zero only exists because of radical Muslims who attacked America and Americans on our own soil. There was only one church destroyed as a result of the 9/11 attacks, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, and they have not been allowed to rebuild. It gets almost zero attention in the media. Kinda interesting, huh? Mosque, yes. Church, no.

What bothers me is that they lack the sensitivity to the location and they chose the date of September 11, 2011, the ten year anniversary of 9/11, for its dedication ceremony. Excuse me? That was enough for me. This is not an ordinary mosque. This is a victory monument by radial Muslims hell bent on having Islam dominate America. Oh that could never happen in America, or could it? This is a slap in the face to every 9/11 survivor, victim, family members of those who died and every American.

In reality, this is legally a local issue for NYC, however, we have had the President intervene and now Nancy Pelosi is calling for a probe into the opposition of the building of the mosque and those questioning how it is being funded. Hello, Nancy Pelosi....I am in opposition to this mosque and I question how it is being funded. Please add me to your probe list.

Next we have Hamas demanding this mosque be built. Umm...who the hell are they to demand anything on American soil?

I want to see a church in Tehran. Nothing to big...just 13 stories...right in the heart of their business district. Maybe another in Saudi Arabia.....and every other Islamic country on the face this earth.

For a group who claims to seek better relations between the Islamic community and the rest of America, where is their sensitivity? Why would they select this location and the date of 9/11 to dedicate the mosque? I will tell you why. They are doing it because they want to inflame the heart of America. Literally. They are getting their wish.

There are questionable Muslims involved in the efforts to build this mosque. This mosque is more than just a mosque...it is going to serve as a location to teach Sharia law. WHAT?? Ahh....you know..Sharia law....where it is their religious LAW to marry little girls and have sex with them, rape your wife, kill homosexuals and stone rape victims to death. Yes, let's teach Sharia law....but not rebuild a church...no way....definitely not a church.

People, it is time to wake up. Our country is falling apart from within. Our government is taking us down and radical Muslims are taking us down using the freedom in America to do it. Are we going to just let this happen? I think not...but you gotta wake up now...because it may already be too late. Sharia is already being upheld in American courtrooms. Government is overstepping its bounds. Freedoms are vanishing right before our very eyes.

I think we have been "politically corrected" to death. It just annoys me to no end. That being said, building this mosque at ground zero....is not "politically correct".

Westboro Baptist Church Is Not Of Christ

While I am the first to speak against gay marriage, I have long said that if they want the same legal protections of marriage, they should have it. Just call it something else besides marriage. I do, however, believe homosexuality is a sin and I do believe The Bible is the literal law of God. Is it my job to judge? Let he without sin cast the first stone. That would not be me. I am human...and I sin. No question about it. I am blessed in that when I ask for forgiveness from my Heavenly Father, He forgives.

I am not a hater. God is not a hater. Jesus is not a hater. Allah? Well, you be the judge.

As a parent, I may not like what my children do, but I still love them. I believe it is the same with our Heavenly Father. He does love His children and I am certain we bring Him a great deal of sorrow. That being said, He loves us.

This is not a church. This is a group filled with hate that goes against what my Christian faith has taught me. My faith has taught me to pray for those sinners, not to hate them. We are to be an example to these people in the way we live our lives and treat other people in accordance with God's Word.

I could not even find an address or location for their weekly worship? There is none. There is a picket schedule...where they picket the funerals of our fallen soldiers. Yea, real Godly, huh? The same soldiers that died to keep them free to spew their hate under the guise of Christianity.

There are extremists everywhere and in everything. Christianity is no exception. The true Christian stands out from others. They are meek, yet strong. Fearful yet fearless...but most of all....they are strong in prayer for those who sin.

I ask everyone to pray for the Westboro Baptist "church" and all that follow their practices. Some or all of their beliefs may be Biblical fact, but their practices lack the Christianity taught by Jesus himself.

In Christianity, remember, The meek shall inherit the earth.

Now does that mean we must be silent on government issues? No. It is in the way we protest that makes the difference. We all know the pot is about to boil....and I think we all know that if there is any violence, it will start from the other side. That has been proven already. Looking at the Tea Party Protests -vs- G8 or G20 summits. The liberal left were the ones violent.

I want to tell my readers a little about myself. First, I am a mother. I have never in my life been political until about two and a half years ago. Second, I am proud to be American. When Obama first started campaigning I really thought this is great because of his race. Then I started listening to him....and I mean really listening to what he had to say. After a while...I realized I was terrified of this man and what he would do to our country. It took a while because I had to look beyond his charisma and hear him. That was not an easy thing to do because he seemed so passionate about America. Then he said...and I will never forget that moment when he said fundamentally transforming America. HUH? Fundamentally? Let's look closely at the definition of fundamentally.

What is the most fundamental aspect of America? Freedom! At the very root of our nation...we are first and foremost free and to be protected FROM the government in more ways than BY the government. We are free to choose and practice our own religion. We are free to speak what we believe. We are free to control our own lives, raise our children, choose their education, and create the life we want for ourselves. Are we all equal? Probably not. Some people choose not to better themselves, and further their education. Some people do. It really has nothing to do with your economic situation. It has everything to do with your desire and motivation. It has everything to do with the encouragement you receive from YOUR parents. Still, even against all odds some rise to great success because THEY WANTED TO!

To fundamentally change our country would require a loss of freedom. How do you make everyone equal? You take from those who worked hard to be successful. Give it to those who do not wish to work hard in life. Life has no guarantees.....not even in America. Only YOU can guarantee your success. You work hard, you study and learn and build your own life rather than allowing the government to do that for you. If they do THAT for you what else will they do for you? Will they require you to do things you do not want to do...I mean with no option? No option at all?

If you want a car...you have to have a license and insurance. Works for me. If you don't want to have a license and insurance that is fine...but no car. Still, you have the choice. Now the bill that is in debate right now, H.R. 5741 would require you to serve the government for two years of your life...when they tell you to. Could be when you are 18 or it could be when you are 41. Either way...there is no choice.

Next, you are free to choose your own religion, values and beliefs. Well, you were until recently. Now, if you do not believe in and support homosexuality, you are expelled from college if they find out. This was not the case three years ago. Looks like fundamentally transforming America is already here.

If you are a doctor or nurse and abortion is against your faith or morals, too bad. You are forced to either perform or assist in these procedures or lose your job. Yep, fundamentally transforming America has arrived.

If the government can tell you that you have to buy health insurance what else can they tell you that you must buy? Might it be a certain kind of haircut? A certain clothing to wear? O M G, I shutter to think we could all wear the same uniforms as Americans. Might be all we can afford before Obama is out of office. A bit of an exaggeration....or is it? Ask yourself when you are being monitored by all the new surveillance cameras popping up all across our country that follow you along your way.

The real issue here is the loss of freedom. The blatant disregard for our Constitution which was written to keep us free. The current trend is surrendering our sovereignty (definition below) to The United Nations. They have created curriculum's that are being taught in our public schools. The IB Programme is just one example. Another is they are going to start demanding that OUR schools teach pre-kindergarten children all about masturbation. They are indoctrinating our children. Using OUR children to promote their agenda. It is your responsibility as a parent to educate your children on what is right...especially if they attend public schools. Get their text books...read them cover to cover. Get the lesson plans and be on the spot to contradict what is inaccurate AS the schools are teaching it.

A New Jersey woman was denied a restraining order against her husband on the grounds of being repeatedly raped. Her husband, born in Morocco, is a practicing Muslim. He was not raping his wife, he's just practicing his religion which permits forcing her to have sex against her will. His horrifying Islamic beliefs were upheld in an American courtroom last week.

The right to practice your religion and faith seems only to apply to Islam these days. Take for instance the two young college women who were taking graduate courses in counseling. Neither could sanction homosexuality.

In a similar case, an Augusta State University (State of Georgia)counseling student, Jennifer Keeton was ordered to stop sharing her Christian faith, complete a "reeducation program and diversity sensitivity training". It was also "suggested" that she attend a local gay pride parade, read about and expose herself to the gay community and write about how she might better serve the gay community in the future. At first she agreed, then changed her mind and decided to stand up for her Christian faith and what she believed in. Way to go, Jennifer!

Why are their Christian religious beliefs not being protected?

There are other cases involving the Christian faith of Americans. What about the medical professionals being forced to assist or perform abortions or lose their jobs? Why are they not being protected for practicing their faith? What about the pharmacists who because of their faith find they cannot dispense an abortion pill? Nobody standing up for them. In fact, Obama reversed the Bush Administrations Conscience Clause, promising a "newer, more robust" one. If anyone has a copy, I would love to see it. I must have missed when it was released and made law....or wait...did that ever happen?

Well, in America Christians must perform abortion, dispense abortion pills, believe in homosexuality or pay the price. Also in America Muslims can rape their wives...but it isn't really rape...it's religion.

God help us all.

H.R. 5741, Mandatory National Service Is Coming!

America has so many issues it is facing right now, this very moment. The scary part is that so many don't even know about them. America has become so complacent that they do not object until something burns their individual ass. By then, it is often too late.

Are you between the ages of 18-42? If you fall between those ages, this is probably the only time you can say that you wish you were 43. Get ready for your mandatory national service.

This is no joke. H.R.5741 - Universal National Service Act has already been sent to committee.

While I know many things are sent to committee and just sit there, it is prudent to bear in mind that Obama has REQUESTED this type of bill to be sent to his desk. He campaigned on this issue. This is one of two promises he made. The other has passed already.

Interestingly enough, it started as H.R.1388 - The Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act where the committee removed all the mandatory parts. Prior to that it was known as Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education (GIVE) Act. Later it was sent to committee as H.R. 1444 where the mandatory was injected back into the bill.

This bill or one very similar is in your future, like it or not. The funding was part of the stimulus package. While they "struggle" with getting this bill passed, they are already putting the pieces together. AMERICORPS (which now has a .gov website) received billions in funding. Billions?

Let me say this. Obama was not lying when he campaigned. He promised to fundamentally transform America. This is pretty fundamental, don't you think? I can only think of one campaign promise he has not kept. Transparency. He promised Healthcare Reform. We got it. They even passed the bill before we could read it and find out what exactly was in it. No transparency there, but he promised it and we got it.

He promised mandatory national service. He promised to have women register for the Selective Service. It's coming.

I urge you to read this bill and then educate others who are not aware. If not, get ready to serve OBAMA because I expect this to pass before November in one form or another.

This is another step in removing the freedom of Americans. What really gets me is the verbiage in this summary:

"To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in CIVILIAN service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, and for other purposes."

Furtherance of the national defense and homeland security? Impossible...unless they close the borders. Further note...it says ALL PERSONS...not just citizens.

Pay special attention to this part: "as a member of the uniformed services or in CIVILIAN service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security"

And just how do CIVILIANS do that? Does the word brown shirts come to mind? Just say'n!

I think the only question is will it pass by congressional measures or will it be an Executive Order?

First, let me say I am NOT against immigration. I AM against illegal immigration and the devastating effect it has had on the infrastructure of The United States of America.

Our country has laws. We have traffic laws, we have criminal laws...and we have immigration laws. Why should we expect any of the above to be overlooked. Laws are laws. Period.

Illegal immigrants come to America. They scream they have rights because they paid taxes. Sure they did, with stolen identities.

Illegal immigrants come here and work for far less than Americans....making them the preference for business owners. They do this by working "under the table" without being taxed or with stolen identities paying taxes.

They eat up the resources in our schools and hospitals costing billions and billions of dollars for every person legally in this country. T

They drive without drivers licenses and insurance. Oh sure...we could let illegals have it...but if we do....why have immigration laws to begin with?

Illegal immigrants DO get welfare, medicaid and foodstamps. Remember those stolen identities? Their children get free lunch at school too.

They scream they have rights. They are human....etc. When did being human give you the right to violate the FEDERAL immigration laws of our country? If you want to come here and enjoy all the benefits America has to give you....then you stand your ass in line like all the others who came here legally.

In my experience...those who come to America legally assimilate into our neighborhoods and communities. Those who come here illegally do not. They come here and live many to one household while receiving every form of government assistance under the sun while they work under the table. What do they do with the money they earn? They send it back to Mexico rather than spending it and putting it back into our AMERICAN economy. The government of Mexico loves this. That would explain why they believe illegal immigration from their country to ours is a right. One Mexican president went so far as to threaten to sue us...the American government if we put up a border fence. HUH? Just who the hell is he?

Ahhh then comes anchor babies. Do you really think the illegals pay for their maternity care and deliveries? I doubt it very much. These babies though....are covered by medicaid the day they are born. Actually, if the law worked...these people would be deported after delivery....with their new babies. They should then apply to come back legally.....after they pay the hospital bill.....and if they can support themselves without utilizing the welfare system. Their children should not have been given citizenship at birth....since the parents are here illegally.

I get very angry when I hear the outcry over splitting up families. Why split them up? Send them all back home. The bottom line is...if an American BREAKS THE LAW and is sent to jail....that too splits up families. Maybe the solution to not breaking up families is to not break the law in the first place, right?

What is so damned hard about following the laws of our country?

Of course, in everything there are radicals...but they are far fewer in Christianity.

When I think of Cass Sunstein, I think of the "thought police". It is frightening that he is working in the White House...but even more frightening is that he was confirmed. His confirmation speaks loudly as to the direction our country is heading.

Harry Reid and the "no Negro dialect" Comment

Now that the politically correct word police have entered the arena...I want to take a look at what Harry Reid said.

He described Obama as light skinned. Check. He is light skinned.

He described Obama as having "no Negro dialect unless he wanted to have one". Check. He doesn't...but can.

He described Obama as Negro. Check. No further explanation necessary.

I used to work in an office where we had a wonderful young lady (African American) working as a receptionist. She sounded very professional and educated when she was working. I might add that she was working her way through college. If her cell phone rang and she answered it...she almost always communicated in a totally different manner.

She explained this to me as being called "switching" after I commented one day on the subject. She also told me that she lived in two worlds. It was a conversation I had totally forgotten until Harry Reid this week.

As far as Harry Reid, I despise the man. Still, this is a clear example of political bullshit. I can find nothing wrong with his comments.

Let's face it..Harry Reid is older than dirt...and using the word Negro was probably the issue here. Poor old Harry failed to refer to him as African American. In Harry's day, Negro was the proper way to refer to an AFRICAN AMERICAN. It was the "politically correct" way at that time. You can do a lot of things...but one thing you cannot do is make your great-grandparents politically correct by today's standards. The alternative used in those days would land you in jail today for hate speech or use of fighting words....although...it seems to be a term of endearment among the black community. Just don't let a a "cracker" say it.

Make no mistake...Reid needs to go, just not for this reason. There is a lot of political BS over race. It cost Trent Lott his career. That was wrong too, in my opinion. Both sides of the aisle look for things to blow out of proportion in the race arena. I guess they see it as a way of gathering votes. I think they WANT to keep race an issue. Maybe if the government left it alone...it would take care of itself. Then again, maybe not.

As I search the internet for information on switching, it occurs to me that more often than not, those polled say they do it to not appear too "white". Talking "white" or acting "white" is not a cool thing among some in the "black" community. I guess that is what my co-worker meant by living in two worlds.

Public Schools Now Parent Our Children

As a mother raising four children, I was shocked to read a recent story about a school board in Texas telling a parent her child was suspended from school because of his hair. Now, we are not talking a mohawk...or anything like that...just hair.

This is a public school and the child is in pre-k. He has been suspended for having long hair. Since the child has been suspended he sits alone with a teacher in the library at Floyd Elementary school in Balch Springs, Texas, not allowed to go to class. After much media attention the Mesquite School Board decided he could wear his hair braided...but must be kept no longer than his ears. THEY DECIDED?

EXCUSE ME?

Since when does the government dictate how people wear their hair? This is not a private school where there are dress codes...etc. This is a public school. This is a child and I would like to know who gave this school board the authority to make such decisions for this four year old child.

This is a situaion that should not go unnoticed. If the school board wins this battle...what's next? Will they dicate to parents the types of eyeglasses allowed? What about their sneakers? Next they could tell you that only a certain brand of shoes are allowed.

The fact is..the government has no right to parent our children. Period.

Oddly enough, I have joked about government approved haircuts for a year. I am not joking anymore.

I am completely alarmed at the way Christmas has been attacked in recent years. Many want to make it a secular holiday, which it is not. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. It is a CHRISTIAN holiday. A holiday for CHRISTIANS. How much clearer can I make it?

The same is true for Hanukkah. It is a JEWISH holiday.

In Armonk, NY the traditional Christmas and Hanukkah displays will now include the Islamic star and crescent. Their displays also include a Menorah and a Christmas tree. Now this might just seem "inclusive" at first glance...but look closer.

The Menorah and the Islamic star and crescent are religious symbols. The Christmas tree is not. What needs to be there to truly represent the real meaning of Christmas is a nativity. Guess what? There isn't one.

Armonk town resident Asad Jilani, saying the Christmas season is an appropriate time to celebrate all cultures, asked the board to include Islamic symbols to their display.

Let me say this again. Christmas is not about celebrating ALL cultures. Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Christ. It is a Christian holiday....not an all inclusive or secular holiday.

Why must Christians be the ones to make one of their top two CHRISTIAN celebrations all inclusive (actually both, but I will cover Easter later). Why must Christians change Christmas to accommodate all? Do you think for one minute that Muslims would allow a nativity at all Ramadan celebrations? Do you think they would allow their religious holiday to become all inclusive? If you are saying yes, you better think again.

Why do people think they can change Christmas and all that it represents. Christians do not interfere with holidays of other faiths. Not that I have ever heard of, anyway.

I suspect these attacks will increase. After all, we have a president who does not buy Christmas gifts for his children in order to teach them limits. He does, however, allow "SANTA" to bring "seasonal gifts". Yes, "seasonal gifts" at Christmas. Not surprising for a man who canceled The National Day of Prayer, but hosted a Ramadan dinner at The White House.

Obama even wanted to make Christmas all inclusive at the White House,

Christmas is not about brotherhood, or sisterhood cultural diversity...or anything else...but the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Obviously, someone forgot to tell the Obama's.

One thing Obama did get right...the message of Christ is universal. It is never changing. If you accept that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins and accept Him as your Lord and Savior, you can have eternal life.

I have news for the Obama's. Christmas is a CHRISTIAN holiday whether you like it or not. It is not all inclusive or secular. You do not have to celebrate it as a family. That is your choice, and in America we are free to make those decisions for ourselves. That being said, The White House is not YOURS. It belongs to the people. I would advise you never to forget that.

I have thought about these new recommendations almost non-stop since they were issued. Then, I decided to take a look at just WHO was making them. Oddly enough, it is a government agency that is appointed by the Obama Administration. Another oddity, the American Cancer Society does not agree with the recommendations.

Why, then would a government agency feel the need to overstep the American Cancer Society and the vast majority of physicians who screen and treat women for breast cancer?

I can tell you in one word:

OBAMACARE!

Do you think that Michelle Obama will wait until 50 to get her first mammogram? I think not. Do you think that Oprah would have waited until 50? Doubt it.

Now it is bad enough that they are saying to wait ten additional years before having a mammogram, but to urge women not to do self exams? Who the hell are these people? What right do they have to advise women not to perform self-breast exams?

It is very plain to see that this is a step in the direction of rationing before Obamacare even passes. Do they really think the American people are so stupid that they will not figure this out? The guidelines will be used if Obamacare passes, to refuse payment (and cut costs) for routine screening for an additional ten years in women. Even worse, now you can expect that private insurance companies will implement these guidelines to cut costs immediately, if not sooner.

It is said repeatedly that Obamacare will not come between the decisions made by you and your doctor. Well of course not, honey,.....just be prepared to pay for those decisions because your insurance is not going to cover it.

The panel who made these recommendations were not even cancer specialists, nor did they ever have real any day to day experience with this disease.

Who then will be affected by the new recommendations under Obamacare? It will be the lower economic class and this will include a large number of black women. The very people who voted for Obama to begin with. Most of these women will be unable to pay for mammograms out of their pockets...unlike the upper economic class.

Where is the OUTRAGE?

I had a very dear friend who diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer at age 36. She died a couple of years later. I can think of several people that I know of that were diagnosed well before the age of 50.

I find it totally alarming that Obama supports the ousted President of Honduras. The people in that country acted according to THEIR constitution when Zelaya tried to remove term limits so that he could run again. Their constitution said that he was not even allowed to try to remove term limits...so they ousted him according to their own law. They were, as I see it, well within their rights?

Zelaya is supported by the warm and fuzzy Hugo Chavez. Which is a clear sign that a dictatorship was in the Hondurans future. Obama suspended over 30 million in aid to that country and has all but reinstated Zelaya to power. Who the hell does Barack Obama think he is?

WHY would Obama support his return to the Presidency when he was legally ousted according to the laws of that country? Has he no respect for their constitution, their people or their freedom? Of course not! He certainly has none for our own country. It is clear as can be. Obama is not a supporter of free people. WE have just yet to see it here in our country....well most of us anyway.

I am changing up my post this week to share with you my faith. You are not forced to read it. You can close the page and be done. I hope you won't.

I do not intend to debate my faith. I am only going to share it with those who choose to read it.

My life was like any other Mom's. Hectic, full calendars...dinner in time to get the kids in bed at a decent time for the following school day. I plugged along in my life without any real disasters. My Father and I were never very close. We had, at best, a turbulent relationship. My parents divorced when I was very young so I really never grew up with him. He was mean at times....very. A time or two in my life I remember him being nice for a minute. He was mentally ill. He was an addict. His addictions changed...from alcohol, to food. He grew to be an enormous sized man....some 500+ pounds at last check. Still, when he had nobody....I took him in. He was totally bedridden. Not able to walk....even to the bathroom. I took control of his food...and he lost down to 286 pounds. HE COULD WALK AGAIN! And walk he did....right to the refridgerator. Gained it all back...and we decided a nursing home was our only option. He was so big that just having him in the house was a dangerous situation for him. If there had been a fire.....we could never have gotten him out. He died April 6, 2001. Just a month before my youngest daughter was born. It hurt me....because we never connected. We never had one of those moments where I knew he loved me. I prayed that he was finally at peace.

A month later my baby comes....and then each year for three years my oldest daughter presented me with grandchildren. Life was hectic...and good.

My Mom and I were very close. She had major health problems...and in the summer of 2000 she came to live with me. The doctors had decided she could never live on her own and had suggested a nursing home. No way. We went to rehab three times a week...sometimes twice in a day. Hectic took on a whole new meaning for me. She had to learn to talk again.....learn to count money, and even make simple glass of water. She did it though. She had determination like I have never seen before.

She eventually moved back home to live indpendently...and her visits to us were once or twice a year. Though we talked everyday...either by phone or instant message. Her health was holding steady for a while...and then I could hear a change in her voice. She began having episodes that put her in the hospital....and she was losing her strength. Still, she came to visit...but at the airport...when I saw her....I was totally not prepared to SEE such a decline in her health. I remember as we were leaving the parking lot of the airport...it hit me. SHE WAS GOING TO DIE. I even had this overwhelming feeling that she would die during her visit....which she did.

My world came crashing down. Nothing made sense anymore...everything I had thought I knew about life...suddenly I understood that I knew nothing. I was angry with God. I wanted my Mother back. She deserved so much more than she had in life....her life was very hard.

As a child, I was raised between church of Christ and Baptist. Depending on which Grandmother had me that weekend. They shared some basic beliefs...but as an adult, I stayed with church of Christ. Now..my mother is gone...and everything I had learned about our Savior was gone too. After getting past my anger, I had to ask for forgiveness. When I say I was angry with God, that is an understatement. So I renewed my relationship with the Lord and sought understanding. I used prayer, my Bible, the internet...television....everything I could to find what I felt God wanted me to know.

I will see my Mom again. That was the first thing I came to understand. Armed with that knowledge, I found peace to continue my quest for knowledge.

I have come to believe that none of the churches really have it right. Although, I tend to lean more toward the church of God. Even within that "denomination" there are many contradicting beliefs. Is the Sabbath Saturday or Sonday. There are scriptures to support both. Still there is only one right way.

I am no longer sure that I believe there will be a rapture...though I would like there to be one. That being said, I am armed and ready to endure what I must for the Lord. I do believe we are seeing prophesy fulfilled at warp speed. Glenn Beck always says keep a diary, we are living in increbible times. I agree...but for more than his reason. I find prophesy very comforting, even though prophesy is not a pretty picture. It confirms my faith in God. I do not need prophesy to confirm it....but it is just amazing to see it come to be. What is sad is seeing people turn from God. Seeing our great nation turn into a "if it feels good, do it" nation. It hurts me to know that some 3500 human lives are taken each day before they can even begin. We have turned from God. Plain and simple.

Sometimes I am afraid but then I remember...the Lord says not to be afraid. When you realize that at the end of this long journey....Jesus returns, nothing seems so bad anymore. To be a part of a generation who could possibly be alive to see the return....is absolutely amazing. I may not make it, but I really believe my children could.

I truly believe that God is a loving God. I have tossed my hellfire and brimstone fears...and I know that God will never condemn anyone to hell that lived and never even heard the name Jesus, or the teenager who died before accepting Christ. I do not believe that God will condemn us to hell to burn forever....but rather the lake of fire is nothing more than the final death....the forever death. The thought of a final death does not feel much better than the thought of a lake of fire. If you have been shown the way to salvation and reject it, well...I honestly do not know if you get another chance. Time will tell.

Throughout my life I used to joke that God and I were going to have to have a discussion about the oceans being no more. The ocean is my favorite place on earth. I never could understand why? In my searches....I came to believe that almost everyone will get a second chance to accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior. If almost everyone who ever lives is resurrected to live again and be given the chance to know God.....I now understand why the oceans will be no more.

The sad part is that even being given a second chance...many will reject him. It just blows my mind.

Many Christians may read this and disagree with what I believe. That is not important. What is important is that we accept Christ. That you believe he dies on the cross for your sins. That is the very basic belief that will begin to save us. From there we must try to emulate Jesus. We will never do it....it is the effort that we are graded on.

The reality is...that so much of God's word is diluted by man...and most of us are not fully aware of how to do everything God wants us to do. Thankfully, Jesus will show us.

If you have not been saved....and would like to be....you can say a simple prayer...and ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you of your sins. You can be in your pajamas, or in a suit. It does not matter. What matters is that you are sincere.

"Dear God I know I'm a sinner, I know I am not where I want to be, and I want your forgiveness! I believe that Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for my sins.

Please wash me clean from all sin, shame, and guilt, come into my life Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. I ask this in your name Jesus.

Amen!"

Either dust off your Bible or go buy one. Start reading. I suggest reading the Gospel of John first....then the old Testament followed by the New Testament. Surround yourself with people who are Christians. Find a church where you are comfortable and continue to read the Bible daily. You may find yourself changing churches a time or two as you grow in your faith. When I would see that a church said it was their way or burn in hell forever....I was usually outta there FAST!

I find it totally unimportant to get caught up in the pomp and circumstance of churches. What I find important is that they have the basics right. What are the basics? I believe the basics are The Ten Commandments and knowing that God sent his only son to die for your sins.

Are Hate Crimes Laws Racist?

I am all for people being punished for crimes they commit and are convicted. Still, hate crime laws seem more than a little unfair to me in the way they are being handled....or.....IGNORED.

A crime is a crime. I see no reason for additional laws to make the same crime more of a crime because of who the victim is. Hate crime laws are racist laws as far as I am concerned. They make it a worse crime with increased penalties for those convicted. Yet the very same crime against a white person is just a crime.

The Channon Christian and Christopher Newsome murders. Channon and Christopher were a white college couple who were carjacked, kidnapped by five blacks in Knoxville, Tennessee. They were both raped, horribly mutilated and murdered. Is this a hate crime?

If this had been white attackers and black victims...we would have likely seen riots if not charged as a hate crime.

Or what about Brian Milligan, Jr. of Buffalo, New York was savagely beaten by a gang of blacks because he was dating a black woman. He was punched and hit in the head with a chunk of concrete by a gang of blacks. They broke his jaw by kicking him in the face. Milligan’s father said he was tormented just walking down the street. Blacks called him "cracker" and then asked her why she was with a white guy and not a black guy. This is clearly a hate crime and it had better be charged as such when arrests are made.

What about a couple of black students beating up a white boy on a school bus? Is this not a hate crime?

We have laws already for crimes committed against people. What makes a black person being beat up more serious than a white person? Or a homosexual person being attacked much more serious than a heterosexual? They are all wrong. All should be punished to the full extent of the law.....but not more just because someone is black or gay.

This is reverse discrimination if you ask me. A crime is a crime. Period.

The double standard must be stopped.

Roman Polanski was arrested this week in Switzerland and faces extradition to the U.S. for raping a 13 year old girl some three decades ago. I simply cannot understand how Hollywood can stand behind this man and believe it should be dropped. This is clearly a difference in liberalism and conservatism. If this is a shining example of Hollywood liberalism, I am proud to be a redneck conservative.

I love how Whoopie says, it wasn't a "RAPE RAPE". What IS a "RAPE RAPE", Whoopie? This was a 13 year old girl who said NO. You seem to believe it is not a "RAPE RAPE" because she was aware. What part of that do you not understand? If her parents were aware, they should be prosecuted too. In fact, they should be charged with nothing less than endangering the welfare of a child. If they were aware...they should be charged with the same charges as the rapist, Roman Polanski. Get the picture? A 13 year old is not capable of consent with a grown man. This was a "RAPE RAPE" that was plea bargained down to sex with a minor. Apparently, the judge changed his mind. Polanski, fearing a hundred years, fled.

Physicians Are Talking About: The Million Med March on Washington

"I'm tired, mad as hell, and just not going to take it anymore," says Richard Chudacoff, MD, a gynecologist from Las Vegas. "I am going to Washington, DC. At noon, on Thursday, October 1, 2009, I will be on the Mall with a few other physicians."

Dr. Chudacoff is not talking about vacation plans. Rather, he intends to unite with other physicians in what he calls the Million Med March.

"We simply decided that we will not work that day and perhaps the day before and maybe even the day afterward," says Dr. Chudacoff. "Perhaps we will show the country that physicians are worth more than a $5 copay; that physicians are more important than a mid-level healthcare worker; and that our profession is needed, our services are required, and our practice is a calling to be respected, not a trade that is to be negotiated to the lowest bidder."

A letter posted by Dr. Chudacoff on www.obgyn.net in June has been spreading like wildfire across the Internet, finding its way to personal blogs, discussion groups, and professional forums. On June 23, it was posted to Medscape's Physician Connect (MPC), a physician-only discussion group, where it sparked a flurry of responses. A number of MPC postings suggest that Dr. Chudacoff will have plenty of company on October 1.

"Finally, something constructive," says a dermatologist. "I'll see you in DC on October 1. Some of the office staff, including our nurse, expressed a wish to be there too. Bring spouses and friends and anybody else who actually cares about healthcare in the US."

"I have cleared my schedule and plan to attend," responds a vascular surgeon. "I think this type of grassroots action, unaffiliated with hospitals, insurance companies, or the AMA, is likely to get the most sympathetic attention."

"This is the best proactive effort I have heard from physicians," says an MPC family medicine physician. "Actions speak louder than words."

"I can be there without changing my schedule," adds an anesthesiologist. "I was just terminated from my office-based practice where I have been for 7 years."

One physician's decision to take a stand and unite with his fellow colleagues has given doctors a simple way to show the public and elected officials that healthcare, for them, is not a political agenda. It is their life and livelihood. And in recent weeks, the partisan discussions in the Senate and House of Representatives on healthcare legislation have seemingly marginalized -- and at times even maligned -- physicians.

"I was for nationalized healthcare," says a family medicine physician, "but I thought that meant providing a safety net for needy Americans. But this monster of a bill is something quite different."

"Politicians and payers have turned our profession into a political football," retorts an anesthesiologist.

President Obama's recent tonsillectomy remark, in which he insinuated that doctors make medical decisions based on what they would be paid for a procedure rather than the best treatment for the patient, has further incensed physicians. "As a hard-working, conscientious physician, I am offended. It's like racial stereotyping. Only now it's about a group that is mostly overworked, tired, and saving people's lives," retorts a family medicine practitioner.

If the president is looking for greed within the healthcare system, Dr. Chudacoff suggests that he not take aim at primary care physicians. Chudacoff adds, "Medicine is going corporate, and we physicians are just flipping burgers so corporations have an improved bottom line."

Although fair compensation is an important issue among the organizers of the Million Med March, it is not the only issue. Medicine has become a toxic environment in which to work. Dr. Chudacoff underscores the situation. "Quality of care suffers with less time to see patients and less reimbursement received when we do see patients. We cannot do pro bono work as we have in the past because we have to see an ever increasing number of patients. This extra work is forced upon us when insurance companies, especially Medicare and Medicaid, constantly refuse to pay us in a timely fashion for our time and efforts. And then once we do see patients, our clinical acumen is stifled as we must follow a cookbook approach to patient care. It is time that we stand up for ourselves."

A vascular surgeon comments, "We can lead the way to real reform. Now is clearly the time to act, not just type."

On July 10, an MPC contributor and one of the supporters of the Million Med March launched a Website, www.millionmedmarch.com, to build support for the October event. The site announces a physician grassroots movement to re-establish honor, dignity, and worth to the medical profession. "The Million Med March movement has taken off, on so many sites, and within so many communities. Why now? The debate on national healthcare has forced this conversation, and this conversation has pushed us over the tipping point."

The mandate as stated on the Million Med March Website includes the following points:

•Services must be adequately reimbursed so that we may spend more time with our patients and not be forced to see an unsafe number of patients to pay for increased business costs.
•Less money must go into the hands of insurance companies' administrative costs, and more money must go towards patient care and medical research.
•We must abolish third-party payers or prevent a single-payer system for office visits and medical services; these services are costly to the patient, physician, and society as a whole.
•Our patients need access to brand-name drugs that are as affordable in the United States as in Canada and Mexico.
•We must have medical malpractice reform, with caps on all damages, so that we can practice without the fear of needless and unwarranted lawsuits that only benefit attorneys.
Some MPC contributors voice concern that the Million Med March scheduled for October will occur too late to have any meaningful impact on healthcare reform. "The health reform bill is going nowhere," says an anesthesiologist. "Let's make a major statement between its failure and the next attempt to marginalize the docs."

A plastic surgeon adds, "Stand up for our profession and come to DC."

When the storm finally hits (and it will), those of you who supported the Obama administration will be affected as well. It won’t just be us gun owners or Fair Taxers, or Pro-Lifers that get hit. You’ll be right there next to us.

You see, you all thought the Conservatives were nut cases. You know, all of us who believe in God, small government, the Second Amendment, etc. And you thought you could just go back to sleep after the election was over. In your world, America will continue as before. You’ll still have the same rights, the same nice house, the same big screen television – it’s all good. After all, your high school football team won and the other team lost – go team! Even if you have bothered to look up from the daily grind since Nov 4th, you dismissed everything that has occurred as “politics as usual” – “the same old stuff”.

In the end, it’ll all be OK won’t it?

Not this time. There are a growing number of citizens in the US that are ready to fight to shut down the government’s grab of personal freedom, it’s blatant abuse of the constitution, and it’s attempt to replace the American way of life with socialism. You have to listen carefully to hear them, but they are there. I won’t start that fight, but when it goes down I will join it.

As for you, why… you’ll be shocked because you didn’t see it coming. And eventually you’ll be saddened when you see that we have truly lost the way of life with which you grew up. You’ll be saddened that your children and grandchildren live in a socialist, government-controlled gulag where their every movement from cradle to grave is tracked by the government. But most of all, you’ll be saddened by the death of friends and relatives who are brave enough to fight and die for something they believe in.

You know, McCain wasn’t much of a candidate. I’ll give you that. He was the lesser of two evils for most of us. I don’t blame you for not voting for him since, at the time, you didn’t know what we all know now. But at least John McCain was an American. He was a supporter of the American way of life and he understood that you can’t negotiate with terrorists. He understood and appreciated the sacrifice made by my father and other members of the Greatest Generation.

Mark my words friends. All across America groups are forming. They are forming out of anger and out of desperation at the thought of losing America. They’re not militia groups, terrorists as the Department of Homeland security would have you believe; they are Americans, loyal to the constitution. They are mothers and fathers and grandparents. They belong to groups like the Minutemen Civil Defense Corps, the Patriotic Resistance, the Constitution Party, the Young Conservatives, the 9/12 Project, and Grassfire. Right now they are fragmented, each focused on their own cause. But sometime in the next two years, our government is going to do something really stupid and these groups will come together. Watch for it, wait for it…get ready. It will happen.

When that event happens, whatever “it” is, our great country is going to plunge into chaos for a while. I pray to God that we make it through that time and emerge a stronger, smarter country.

I remember the outrage from Liberal America when along came The Patriot Act under the Bush Administration. Obama's congressional vote was "nay", yet he is pushing for the reauthorization of The Patriot Act today.

Where are the screams from Liberal America? Where is the outrage? If it was a bad thing under Bush, isn't it bad under Obama?

If liberals were outraged then and not now, isn't that hypocricy?

Frankly, under the Obama Administration, we really no longer need the patriot act because Obama has the Black Widow. The Black Widow gives far more syping capability than The Patriot Act ever did.

I find it interesting that the bill, S.1686, for The Patriot Act is described as "a bill to place reasonable safeguards on the use of surveillance and other authorities under the USA PATRIOT Act, and for other purposes".

I guess the Liberals believe this.....Go figure.

Of course the largest issue involves eating meat. I believe that that meat-eating would be
acceptable if decent treatment is given to the animals used for food. Killing animals,
whether or not troublesome, is far less troublesome than suffering. But if, as a practical
matter, animals used for food are almost inevitably going to endure terrible suffering,
then there is a good argument that people should not eat meat to the extent that a refusal
to eat meat will reduce that suffering. Of course a legal ban on meat-eating would be
extremely radical, and like prohibition, it would undoubtedly create black markets and
have a set of bad, and huge, side-effects. But the principle seems clear: People should be
much less inclined to eat meat if their refusal to do so would prevent significant suffering.

To the extent that they weaken the power of the general interest intermediaries and
increase people’s ability to wall themselves off from topics and opinions that they would
prefer to avoid, emerging technologies, including the Internet, create serious dangers.
I don’t want government regulation of the blogosphere in the form of mandated links or
mandated civility or, you know, if you’re doing liberal ideas on your site you have to
have conservative ideas too. I don’t want any of that stuff… But I do have some ideas
and they’re about private voluntary solutions. One is that blog providers, either writers or
those who operate them should, if they are involved in opinion – at least most of the time,
work hard to obey norms of, let’s call them, civility and diversity. So not complete
diversity. You’re entitled to have a point of view. But to think that some of the time if
people are reading you its good to catch their eye with something that might irritate them
a bit.

Trial Ordered for Obama Eligibility

You know, I am not a "birther", per say...but....with people trying to get Obama to prove his eligiblity to be the President of the United States of America and Obama spending MILLIONS in legal fees to avoid proving eligibility, kinda makes me wonder WHY he is so adamant on avoiding a showdown on proving he is really an American Citizen.

Who is paying for Obama's legal fees? Is he paying or are WE paying...you know...remember us? We the People? Knock knock...hello, we are still here.

There have long been questions about his eligibility and in the beginning I really paid little attention. That being said, the longer it drags on with Obama racking up millions in legal fees, the question has sort of entered my mind.

First of all, anyone running for office should be proven eligible by non-partisan panel. That sure makes more sense than posting a short form birth certificate the internet.

Whether the allegations of his citizenship are legitimate or not, this issue could be put to rest quite easily. All college records have been sealed, his birth records sealed (and more listed in the article below) and it appears that the President has gone to great lengths to prevent having to show records? Why? What is he hiding?

Today, the birthers received a victory. It appears there is a judge in this country that believes in upholding The Constitution of the United States.

Why should a trial have ever been orderd? He could just show the damn proof and get on with his agenda of destroying our country.

If there is one thing I know....if it were a conservative in office....and he were white....he would have had to prove it long ago.

Our county has decided today that they are going to show the children of our county the Obama broadcast to the students of our nation. Earlier in the day it was decided by my daughters teacher NOT to show it. Sadly, the seem to have overruled our teacher.

I have made it clear that my children will not view the broadcast. The school is very cooperative in the matter, thankfully. I have included in this post my email to the school administration regarding this broadcast. If you have children and do not want them to view it either, feel free to use my letter in part or whole:

I am very saddened by the decision to allow this broadcast. I am assuming it will be shown to all grades?

President Obama has goals for our communities and our country that are in direct conflict with the Constitution of The United States of America, and the political and religious beliefs of our family. The idea of using government schools to force students to bond or unite with the country's highest leader might be appropriate for North Korea, China or Cuba, but it has no place in The United States of America, a Constitutional Republic. The President of the United States will not use my children to move forward his goals for community and country to "come more readily".

From the teachers lesson plan provided by The White House:

"It might make sense to focus on personal and
academic so community and country goals come more readily."

If you plan to use the teachers planning form provided by The White House for activities following the broadcast, I would like to know if this will be a graded activity? If so, will our children be given alternative activities to do for the grades.

I do appreciate being informed of this change in plans. I will try to get appointments for the dentist made for all three children. If that is not possible at this point, we can figure something else out to make it so that it is not a burden for our teachers. I have no problem sitting with the children in a school location where there is no audio or video of the broadcast during that time and then having them return to class after this event and any activities or discussion that follows.

I guess by now you have guessed that we are a very conservative, Christian family. I cannot apologize for that, but I will apologize for any trouble this situation creates for our teachers. They are wonderful, we appreciate them and we certainly do not want to create any extra hassles for them.

First....watch this video.

Most all of these sounds so warm and fuzzy they almost make you want to puke. Sadly, the reality is that is just the packaging. It is just an agenda wrapped so beautifully you cannot see it for what it is. By the time you get through all the wonderful things these people are going to do....you forget that Obama does not even do one of them. He does not represent America with patriotism or pride. Instead he goes around kissing the asses of our enemies and apologizing for our country.

Most of all people fail to see that he is asking people to serve HIM. The way I understood it, Obama was in servitude to US! My family will never SERVE Obama. My family will serve the Lord.

Next, we have Obama entering the classrooms via live broadcast from The White House. Again, I can assure you that his speech will be eloquent and moving, but please look deeper.

Then...we have to have the speech interpreted by teachers. If they support the socialist movement in America, our children are nothing more than political pawns in a child indoctrination movement in America.

My family will never SERVE Obama. My family will serve the Lord and the Lord alone.
My children will not participate in this "revolutionary" event hosted by a President that I have fundamental differences with.

Go ahead, ask me. Ask me outright WHY my children will not watch the President address all of the students in our nation. Go ahead, ask me!

This is my answer:

Bill would give president emergency control of Internet

"A Senate source familiar with the bill compared the president's power to take control of portions of the Internet to what President Bush did when grounding all aircraft on Sept. 11, 2001."

Now I am no genius, but there is no comparison here. The stark reality is that this bill would give ONE person the ability to shut down the internet. ONE PERSON! I would feel much better about this if it went through congress. It takes congress to declare a war, right?

It is simply un-American to give that much power to a single individual in this, The United States of America. I believe that it can only lead to something that is not good. It also has provisions to give the President control of computer systems in the private sector. Keep in mind that "cyber" means anything to do with computers, telephones, internet and computer networks.

This means our entire means of communications could be shut down by ONE individual as he determines necessary.

Think about that. Really, just think about that for a while.

Obama promised to fundamentally transform America. He is keeping true to his word. My country is changing right before my eyes.

Congress is no longer reading the bills they are not writing. In fact, bills are being written by leftist organizations, not congress. Our White House has admitted radicals, socialists and communists advising the President.

Today a left leaning state passed a bill imposing a fine of $1000.00 per day and 30 days in jail for not taking the swine flu vaccine when they tell you to.

There is a massive undertaking in America for silencing dissent. The government is attacking those who disagree. What is next? Will we be jailed? A year ago that would have sounded far fetched. It is not so far fetched today.

The government has infiltrated the auto industry, the banking industry, and now wants to take over our health care in a manner that gives the American citizen no choice.

We are losing freedoms right before our eyes and people just do not get it. We ARE undergoing a fundamental transformation and it is not a pretty one.

This sort of thing happens in other countries, right? You know, like North Korea or Venezuela? Sure it does and now it is happening right here in America, The United States of America. Land of the Free, Home of the Brave.

The Diversity Czar is opposed to any private ownership of media. Did you get that? Let me rephrase it:

The Diversity Czar, Mark Lloyd, is a proponent of all media being owned and operated by the GOVERNMENT! No more conservative or Christian talk radio. Why is the press not reporting on this? Where is the outrage?

Citizens fall for it because it comes packed all pretty with words like diversity and community. I promise you there is nothing pretty about this man and what he wants to do. Nothing, nada.....ZIP!

America is not a democracy. Maybe I am wrong, but I seem to get the feeling you should know this.

Let me help you out here. America is a constitutional republic. If you have read the constitution and the bill of rights, you should know and understand this by now. Being that none of you are doing anything constructive or even remotely legal, maybe you should take the time to read it NOW. I really think it will behoove you to understand the founding documents of our great nation.

You are getting everything all mucked up in D.C.. If you just take a little time to read and understand what our country was founded on....I am sure your job performance would improve. I understand that sometimes we all need a little more training to do our jobs effectively and there is no reason to be ashamed.

If you have any questions after reading it, my eight year old daughter would be happy to answer your questions. She can put it all into very easy to understand language for you. She can even help you with that "One Nation Under God" thing we have here. You do remember God, don't you?

Back to the constitution. Let me give you a little head start, okay? John Adams defined a constitutional republic as "a government of laws, and not of men(or women).

Once you ALL grasp this little concept, I think we will breathe a huge sigh of relief. Then the government can get back to respecting the rights of the American citizens.

Is This Really Happening to America? It is Time to Wake Up NOW!

I am not an alarmist....nor a conspiracy theorist. I am a single Mom and I am afraid.

Our government has taken ownership in the auto industry, banking industry and now it appears a takeover of the health care industry.

There are bills and treaties looming over us that will fundamentally change our country. When you look at these things and cannot deny what is happening, it is overwhelmingly frightening. Then add to that the way the Obama Administration and the liberal congress responds to Americans who disagree. The President himself said he did not want the people who created the mess to talk...he wants them to get out of the way and not do a lot of talking. It makes sense to me that he is talking about conservatives. Adding more, our government is asking people to report people and websites who disagree with Healthcare Reform. Last but not least, conservative Americans have been called extremists and low level terrorists.

I cannot believe this is happening.

It appears to me there is nothing we can do to stop these changes before the next election. I am afraid that is too late.

Conservative consituents have become "astroturf". No matter what we say or do, we are moot.

There are "CZARS" who are self-proclaimed socilaists, communists and America haters in the White House and with the way they work, they bypass congress, if I am correct in my understanding.

I know that my congressmen represent me well. That being said, they are not heard either. They are not given a chance to read bills that are still being written as they are brought to the floor for a vote. They are getting little, if any, cooperation in working on healthcare reform. The way I see it, they are shut out of the process. The media never covers the conservative congress. They do not even cover the fact that the liberal congress are not even reading the bills they vote on.

Having said I am not a conspiracy theorist, I cannot help but wonder what is coming next? It sure appears there is an agenda at work here and it is destroying the greatest nation in the world.

What is happening to our country? I want my children to be free. I do not want to be told how to parent my children (UN Convention on the Rights of the Child). I do not want school based healthcare clinics coordinating the care of my children with school officials(H.R 3200). I do not want my children being forced into National Service(H.R.1444), or fear of being reported to the government if they disagree with the government(flag@whitehouse.gov).

Something sinister is happening. I can feel it and it scares the hell out of me.

How did this happen? How can we stop it?

More realistically, CAN it be stopped?

Obama's Town Hall Meeting on Healthcare Reform

I watched the town hall meeting held by President Obama in New Hampshire. Frankly, I was appalled. This was the most clearly staged town hall meeting in the history of town hall meetings.

Interesting how people across the country are upset when they attend these meetings, yet this one was so pretty, calm and sweet that it literally made me sick. If you think these people were random, you are wrong. They all had to have background checks and have their questions approved. I believe they were carefully selected and planted in the audience.

I have taken a transcript of this meeting and I am going to break it down....translate it, if you will, into reality.

Obama: "Now, this is obviously a tough time for families here in New Hampshire and all across America. Six months ago, we were in the middle of the worst recession of our lifetimes. I want you to remember what things were like in January and February. We were losing about 700,000 jobs per month. And economists of all stripes feared a second-coming of the Great Depression. That was only six months ago."

Translation: Ummm....I think we are still in a recession. Nothing has changed for the American people.

Obama: "So there is no doubt that the Recovery Act has helped put the brakes on this recession. We just saw last Friday the job picture is beginning to turn. We're starting to see signs that business investment is coming back."

Translation: Unemployment dropped from 9.5% to 9.4% in July. Way to go, big boy! The recession is over...YEEE HAWWWW!

Obama: "Now, let me just start by setting the record straight on a few things I've been hearing out here -- (laughter) -- about reform. Under the reform we're proposing, if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can keep your health care plan."

Translation: You can keep them since they will be grandfathered in. They will not be allowed to sign anyone else up on the plan you have....and if you lose your job or they go out of business competeing with the government then you will lose that coverage and be forced to take a government approved plan. The reality is that the private plans and government plans are all the same under healthcare reform and will be nothing like the good plan you had before.

Obama: "You will not be waiting in any lines. This is not about putting the government in charge of your health insurance. I don't believe anyone should be in charge of your health insurance decisions but you and your doctor. (Applause.) I don't think government bureaucrats should be meddling, but I also don't think insurance company bureaucrats should be meddling. That's the health care system I believe in. (Applause.)"

Translation: Obama has not read the bill. He has even said in the past that it is cheaper to take a pain pill than to have surgery. Obama is not a doctor but that comment alone makes it very clear that the government will be in control of your treatment.

Obama: "If you do have health insurance, we will make sure that no insurance company or government bureaucrat gets between you and the care that you need. And we will do this without adding to our deficit over the next decade, largely by cutting out the waste and insurance company giveaways in Medicare that aren't making any of our seniors healthier. (Applause.) Right. (Laughter.) "

Translation: You will get care, but if you are a senior with a broken hip, expect pain pills and a wheelchair. He is going to cut that wasteful surgery you need.

Obama: "Our deficit will continue to grow because Medicare and Medicaid are on an unsustainable path. Medicare is slated to go into the red in about eight to 10 years. I don't know if people are aware of that. If I was a senior citizen, the thing I'd be worried about right now is Medicare starts running out of money because we haven't done anything to make sure that we're getting a good bang for our buck when it comes to health care."

Translation: Medicaid is broke, Medicare is broke...so let's make a new one and make it bigger and add at least 46 million more people in addition to those on medicare and medicaid. He is using a scare tactic with seniors telling them they could lose medicare if they do not support this reform. He has either lost his mind...or it is true that this is about power and control.

Translation: Private health insurance is not going to be competition because they will be required to offer the exact same policies that the public option will offer. How can you have a government public option that competes with private, when the government controls the competition?

The reality is this. A public option will have extensive administration cost...especially if you are adding 46 million or more people. We all know that the government is the most wasteful spender of all. The waste they are going to cut will be the quality care that people need. The treatments deemed necessary for a quality outcome. If you need a hip replacement you are going to get pain pills and a wheelchair rather than the surgery if you are elderly.

Socialized medicine does not work. It has been tried in several states and other countries and it is not a success. Either the care is diminished or the cost bankrupts the system.

The government has no business in the healthcare of American Citizens. Yes, there needs to be programs like medicaid and medicare. Rather than revamp the whole system just make these two programs more effective and more available to other people. Allow people to buy medicaid if a public option is so important. Just stay out of the rest of the industry.

I believe healthcare reform will pass. I hope that the America people will accept nothing less than the exact same healthcare coverage congress has. Why do we deserve anything less?

Is Congress Above Healthcare Reform for Themselves?

Imagine for a minute that you are hosting a dinner for your employees. It is mandatory that they attend. Would you feed yourself and your management team lobster and then serve the workers vienna sausage?

This is what congress is trying to do to us with H.R.3200 - America's Affordable Health Choices Act of 2009 more commonly known as Healthcare Reform or Obamacare. It will be mandatory and we cannot opt out. Yet, congress finds the public option beneath them. Congressman John Fleming(R-LA) has introduced a resolution asking all of congress who votes for Healthcare Reform to sign up for it themselves. As of now, there are 69 GOP signatures from Congress and ZERO from the Democrats. Not ONE!

Looking at the diagram above, could this be why?

Let's put this into perspective. It is good enough for us, but not for them. That is a huge statement and should draw pause from every single American.

Healthcare Reform puts our healthcare into the hands of the federal government. A government that is in debt up to its ears. Medicare is broke. Medicaid is broke. Social Security is broke. The Post Office is broke. America is broke.

America has a debt limit of 12.1 trillion dollars. Currently, we stand at 11.7 trillion ($11,700,000,000,000) in debt. Estimates show that by October we will have reached the debt limit of 12.1 trillion. Today, Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner is requesting that the debt limit for America be raised! RAISED! This will give congress the opportunity to continue spending and we have not even added the medical care of every citizen in this country.

I ask you, if you will, to momentarily put aside the fact that Healthcare Reform will fundamentally CHANGE America.

Now, the feds want to take over the entire healthcare industry in America. A country who is broke..wants to take over our healthcare from pre-birth until death. Whether you are a liberal or conservative, I have to ask you, would you sign up for Blue Cross if they were bankrupt? What happens when the money runs out? How will they cover the healthcare of over 300 million Americans? It is time to WAKE UP, America! Public options have been tried in Massachusetts and Tennessee. It does not work. The cost of the programs were seriously understimated. We simply cannot afford or allow a government takeover of the healthcare industry. Look at the U.K and Canada where you can wait months for an MRI or months to see your ASSIGNED primary care physician. The elderly receive rationed care. Do we really want this to happen in America?

Interesting, despite all the legitimate reasons for opposing Healthcare Reform, some elected officials have called those opposing the bill un-American, racist, mobsters and even insinuated we were Nazi's. They claim they are all paid protesters...based on the way the protesters dress. Apparently, those who disagree with Healthcare Reform dress to well. Elected officals at town hall meetings are treating Americans who oppose Healthcare Reform with complete disrespect. The President of The United States of America told those who disagree to shut up?

Here is a very important question for you. What happens when a government quits listening to their citizens?

Backing up a bit, Healthcare Reform will fundamentally change America. Government is getting bigger. People get smaller. Even without this bill, this is happening in America today. The federal government has taken large stakes in the auto industry and the banking industry. Now they want the healthcare industry. One of the most fundamental industries in America. I believe my healthcare is a very private matter. The government has no business in the private affairs of my life or the life of any citizen in this country. The intrusion into the personal lives of Americans is a violation of our rights.

What right does the government have to mandate and provide end of life counseling for seniors. I discuss issue like this with my family, not the government. I consider this an intrusion into my life by the federal government.

I have reflected a lot recently about the big picture. We are seeing Cap and Trade(H.R. 2454), Health Care Reform (H.R. 3200), and the Civil Service Act (H.R. 1444) to name a few. All of these are very intrusive into the PRIVATE lives of American citizens.

The governement has infiltrated private industry taking ownership in the auto industry and banking industry. Healthcare Reform would give ownership of our health care to the government and whether or not they will admit it, control over the healthcare and lives of Americans.

Cap and Trade infiltrates the utility companies which will result in a huge increase in the utility bills of Americans and probably control over the amount of electricity we can use. Some say as much as $3000.00 per household, per year. That boils down to $250.00 per month, per household. This when they are paving the road to requiring all electric cars in America. How can they do that when even without them we will have HUGE utlity bills, and soon a cap on how much electricity we can use. Remember Obama dreamed of a day when all Americans would have smart meters installed at their homes. That has become a reality for our family. Just remember this, smart meters can be used to limit the amount of electricity I use. So...do I cook dinner and do some laundry for my family or charge my car so I can go to work the next day....all the while paying approximately 50% more for electricity than we do now. You tell me.

Healthcare Reform...no matter what they say, takes away our right to privacy and interferes in my (and yours) medical care which should be solely between myself and my physician. It adovacates death over long term treatment for terminal illness and limits treatment for the elderly. It even MANDATES the type of coverage you must have and how much you can afford to pay. If you do not purchase this insurance, you will be FINED!

Oh, and I forgot about Obama's Black Widow. Better read this one. Barack Obama will be in charge of the biggest domestic and international spying operation in history.

I might remind you that Medicare is broke. Medicaid is broke. The United States Postal Service is going bankrupt and now they want to take over healthcare in America.

The Civil Service act could require ALL Americans to "volunteer", and a portion of the population would have to serve for an extended period of time as the military does. No choice...mandatory. Even seniors could be required to serve in some manner.

In Oregon they tested the use of a GPS installed on cars to charge us for the amount of miles you drive. Then when you go to buy gas, your GPS will add the tax to your gas purchase. Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore. is now calling for this in every car in America. Do you really want a government installed GPS unit to monitor your travels?

American healthcare workers with religious convictions regarding abortions could lose the right to opt out of assisting with abortion procedures. They could be forced to assist and if they don't.....then what? This will lead to many excellent physicians leaving the medical field, including my own.

I see where Americans will be paying huge taxes..income, sales tax..etc. They are talking about adding a tax to carbonated beverages such as Coke or Pepsi, and tax on video games because they are not good for you. I even heard about a possible tax on toilet paper in the name of climate change as stated in the "Water Protection and Reinvestment Act,” (H.R.3202).

Is this really about the people? I don't think so. I think it is about POWER! POWER and CONTROL over the lives of American Citizens!

I also see an nasty change in the attitude of the Obama Administration. It is getting very ugly. Conservative Americans have been called right wing extremists, low level terrorists and more recently, angry mobsters and today Nancy Pelosi insinuated we are nazis. This was described by a leading psychologist on Fox News as Character Warfare. It is part of a plan by the Democrats to "dehumanize" conservative Americans. The President of the United States of America, Barack Obama, called conservative protests as fake or manufactured. "Manufactured anger"? That's rich, coming from the party who supports and benefitted from ACORN's manufactured votes.

As if that is not enough, The Obama administration has gone so far that they have asked people to report TO THE WHITE HOUSE, people, emails and websites that disagree with Healthcare Reform. They refer to it as "disinformation" which means "the act of intentionally spreading false rumors". So if you disagree with Healthcare Reform you better keep it to yourself, lest you find yourself guilty of disinformation? Oh...and by the way, there is a new Czar for that. The Disinformation Czar.

Okay, now let me get this straight. Obama does not plan to elimiate private health insurance, so says the White House website. The White House also says:

How Socialism Works

An economics professor at a local college made a statement that he had never failed a single student before but had recently failed an entire class.

That class had insisted that Obama's socialism worked and that no one would be poor and no one would be rich, a great equalizer.

The professor then said, "OK, we will have an experiment in this class on Obama's plan". All grades would be averaged and everyone would receive the same grade so no one would fail and no one would receive an A.

After the first test, the grades were averaged and everyone got a B.

The students who studied hard were upset and the students who studied little were happy.

As the second test rolled around, the students who studied little had studied even less and the ones who studied hard decided they wanted a free ride too so they studied little.

The second test average was a D! No one was happy.

When the 3rd test rolled around, the average was an F.

The scores never increased as bickering, blame and name-calling all resulted in hard feelings and no one would study for the benefit of anyone else.

All failed, to their great surprise, and the professor told them that socialism would also ultimately fail because when the reward is great, the effort to succeed is great but when government takes all the reward away, no one will try or want to succeed.

Could not be any simpler than that.

Yes, You Can Keep Your Health Insurance....But....

Well, Obama was true to his word. You CAN keep your coverage. Just don't ever lose it because no private health insurance provider will be able to enroll any new individual into their plans after ObamaCare goes into effect. Essentially, if you lose that coverage, you will be forced to move to the public option...ObamaCare.

Inevitably, all private insurance companies will be forced out of business. Read it for yourself.

There is a radical agenda at work here. I, for one, resent being told partial truths. Had I not read this for myself, I would not have believed it based on Obama's promise. Obama pays parking tickets after almost TWO DECADES!
